The classroom is a teaching room, not a video call
A lesson on Languato happens inside a classroom built for teaching. Everything the tutor and the student need is in the same place, so nobody moves between five apps to give one lesson.
- A current, full featured whiteboard. Tutor and student write on it at the same time and both see it instantly: drawing, writing, shapes, colours, images, files and text, multiple pages to move between, zoom, erase and undo. Enough for a language lesson and a maths lesson alike.
- Files and materials uploaded into the room and opened during the lesson itself.

Tutors are selected carefully, not admitted on request
Not everyone who speaks a language can teach it. Languato does not open its door to whoever knocks: a tutor here already holds a qualification and certificates proving they teach, and their application is reviewed before it reaches a single student.
- Three years of teaching experience at minimum, and up to thirty. No tutor is accepted with less than three years in teaching, and some have spent thirty years in a classroom. The least experienced tutor here taught for years before reaching you, and you will not be their first attempt.
- A complete file before acceptance. The tutor submits official proof of identity, their academic qualification and their teaching certificates, and states which languages they speak and at what level, and which subjects and grades they actually teach.
- A human review of every application. Each file is checked section by section before approval: identity, qualification, certificates, and what the tutor claims about themselves. What does not meet the bar is not approved, and an incomplete file goes back with specific notes rather than a vague rejection.
- Their qualification is shown to you. You see a tutor's certificates and their level in every language they teach before you book, so you do not discover after paying that they had nothing to back it up.
- One identity, permanently. A tutor approved under a given identity keeps it and cannot change their name afterwards, so nobody returns with a new face after leaving a bad trail.
- Reviews from people who actually studied. The opinion you read about a tutor comes from a student who took a real lesson on the platform, not from a passing account.
Lessons are two-way
A lesson here is not a lecture you watch. The student writes on the same board as the tutor, works through problems in front of them, and is corrected on the spot.
